What we’re about
This group is for women of all ages (most members are 55-70 plus) interested in walking & social get-togethers such as movies, dining & entertainment. Walks are generally focused around Bayside with an occasional twist thrown in.
We have a $10.00 once-a-year membership fee, this helps to cover costs levied by Meetup to use the platform.

Regular walks are:
Mondays 10.00 am, (9.30 am DST): Joan and or Jane & guest hosts run a Monday morning walk usually from Black Rock or Brighton Baths
Tuesdays 10 am, (9.30 am DST): Gillian hosts a walk once/ twice around Dendy Park
Fridays 10.00 am,(9.30 am DST): Kay hosts a walk from Sebastian's in Hampton along the beach to Green Point and back.
Occasionally we have a Wednesday or Thursday walk/event these will be announced.
Weekends: We currently don't have regular weekend walks but they happen here and there, we also have some day trips, movie nights, dinners etc.
All walks wind up with a cuppa at a local cafe, members are welcome to join us simply for a cuppa if unable to make the walk. Our walking pace is varied and we always walk 30 mins one way then 30mins back, you simply walk as far as is comfortable in that time frame, there is NEVER any pressure for you to keep up any pace at all.
