A friendly group for tabletop role playing games. (D&D and similar games)
New players are always welcome. Everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of knowledge or experience.
We're probably going to start off running some one-shots of various RPGs, and eventually start some campaign games.
One of the purposes of this group is to allow GMs to use this meetup to set up their own game sessions. Are you a GM who wants to start a new game? Or recruit new players to an existing game? You can use our group to sign up players and schedule your games.

Shadowdark One-Shot: The Doom of Cear Ferros

During the harsh season, a trade caravan decided to take a shortcut through an old abandoned mountain pass. This forsaken route is silently guarded by the broken outline of a forgotten fortress. When the merchants never returned, you were tasked with investigating the disappearances.This game session is facilitated by Emerald City Comics as part of the monthly Open RPG Play event; however, the table itself is run individually by a volunteer GM.
About the Table
2-6 players are needed for this session.
(Four player slots can be reserved here on Meetup; the last two slots are open for walk-in on a first-come first-served basis.)No experience required, nor preparation needed. This is a beginner-friendly table. Character creation is quick, with premade characters available.
All necessary play material will be available and provided if needed. If bringing your dice set, Shadowdark is a d20-based roll-high system (standard RPG 7-dice set).
All players are welcome. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly table. Shadowdark is a dark fantasy adventure game that emphasizes dungeon-crawling; content will be kept at around PG-13/Rated-T or R-Rated/Rated-M.

Tales From The Loop
Kitchen Table Games (New Location), 9737 66th Street North, Pinellas Park, FL, USThis will be session zero for a short campaign of Tales From The Loop, a role playing game in the vein of E.T. and Stranger Things. You'll play teenagers solving mysteries connected to the Loop, a mysterious place of strange technology that never existed, in a version of the 1980s that never was. Beginners are welcome, and no experience is needed.
Choose between character types such as the Bookworm, the Troublemaker, the Popular Kid, and the Weirdo. Everyday life is full of nagging parents, never-ending homework, and classmates bullying and being bullied. The kids get to escape their everyday problems and be part of something meaningful and magical – but also dangerous.
I don't think this would be a very long campaign, probably a few weeks. Feel free to contact me if you're interested or have any questions.
The first session will be an introduction to the game. We'll do character creation, and time permitting, a short adventure.
