What we’re about
KW Recreation is a long standing community group for spontaneous social and physical activities. Our goal is to bring the community together in-person and keep us grounded to the joys of being outside of our homes and fellow people. Everyone is welcome. All events (unless noted) are free and generally in the vicinity of the Waterloo Region.
Activities vary between:
- Conventional sports such as soccer, volleyball, ultimate,
- Unconventional sports as hide and seek, night-time trail biking, outdoor climbing,
- Social excursions such as cycling, kayaking, multi-night backcountry camping
- And wilder adventures such as multi-day/week road trips to far north, east and west.
- We are also expanding to general in-person recreation and entertainment.
