What we’re about
If you want spiritual growth and loving community -- WITHOUT DOGMA -- you're in the right place! We're Center for Spiritual Living Greater Dayton -- a welcoming, inclusive community honoring all spiritual paths. We're "church" for people who don't "do church!"
Join us for celebration services, yoga, classes in spiritual practices and principles, and more! Our Sunday services, at 10:30 a.m., feature the Higher Mind Band -- an amazingly talented group of musicians who rock the house! We offer infant and toddler care and youth spiritual education during the service. We gather to support each other's growth, to celebrate life itself, and to love each other! Park in the computer place's lot, just north of us, if our lot is crowded when you arrive.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Weekday morning book discussion - True Love by Thich Nhat HanhLink visible for attendees
The morning reflection Zoom group is going to be reading and discussing "True Love - A Practice for Awakening the Heart" by Thich Nhat Hanh. We will be reading aloud a chapter a day Monday through Friday starting this Monday April 7. We start the reading at 8am and the discussion is over by 8:20am. (The format is someone reads the chapter, we take 5 minutes of silence, and discuss the reading for another 5-10 minutes.)
There are 16 short chapters so we should be focusing on this book for just over 3 weeks. You can hop on for any session any time. You don't need to have the book to attend but you can order the book (in paperback, Kindle or Audible format) from Amazon.
Contact Kelly ( kellyeokeefe@gmail.com ) or Andie ( ahock2261@gmail.com ) for Zoom information.

"Compassion and caring are the ties that bind us together in mutual understanding and in the unified attempt to uncover the Divinity in each other. Compassion is the most gentle of all human virtues, for it is the outpouring of the Divine
giving-ness through all."
