What we’re about
S3 holds weekly 'Group Intercambios', which are casual discussion groups for both native English and Spanish speakers to meet and practice their two great languages.
S3 meets at a bar. This does not suit some people. If you are such a person, please think very deeply and for an extremely long time about whether you will become despondent that we do not meet at a church or library. Of course, if you know of any churches or libraries serving a wide variety of domestic and imported beer, maybe we could work something out...
This group is a social group focused on language learning, cultural enrichment and language exchange.
Unsolicited Messages - Writing people on Meetup whom you haven't met is against our policies. Meetup is for meeting people at events. If you receive a message from somebody you haven't met or experience anything that makes you uncomfortable, please let the leadership team know. We want to ensure everyone feels safe, welcome, and comfortable.
Harassment - This group does not tolerate sexual harassment or other forms of harassment. Please do not come to this group expressly looking for a date. If you meet someone you like at an event, that's fine. Please be respectful of any cultural differences.
Discrimination - This group welcomes all language learners and language speakers regardless of nationality, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to one of the organizers for assistance.
