What we’re about
Worldwide Sailing Adventures meetup is a forum for like-minded individuals with an interest in sailing and looking to make the most of their free time and participate in the sport of yachting. Whether you’re an experienced sailor of just want to give it a try, you are welcome to join. We are open to all!
Trips are lead by Sailscape Ltd or individual members and offer a range of sailing activities including UK based weekend trips as well as fun and relaxed trips in the Mediterranean sunshine where time to relax and enjoy the local culture and cuisine is as important as the sailing itself. For those looking for more adventure or travel opportunities, some organisers also offer trips to more exotic locations.
Key members have been organising trips for well over 10 years in various locations across the Mediterranean, UK and further afield. Trips are open to all members over the age of 18yrs. If you are interested to know more, please come and join us at one of our socials.

See all- Explore Baja California!Needs location
The Plan: Do you fancy trying something new, something different, something with a bit of adventure? Join us for a truly incredible week exploring the coastline of Baja California Sur, Mexico. The coastline is pristine and stunning, with Pelcans diving in around the boat and incredible sea life, this is sure to be a great experience not to be forgotten!
This trip is open to seasoned sailors and beginners alike, no experience is necessary however, we will be staying in some remote areas, there wont be any crowded bars, or nights at town quays, and we will be catering for ourselves onboard the yacht most evenings during the week. This is a chance to escape the rush of modern life, experience the natural beauty of Mexico and the freedom you can only get from a week on a yacht! When: 3pm 7th February to – 9am 14th February 2026. (Its advised to arrive in Mexico at least a day before the trip to recover from jetlag).
Where: We will start and end the trip in La Paz and visit some fantastic bays and islands on the way including Isla San Jose, Isla Espiritu Santo and San Evaristo.
The yacht: A 50’ catamaran with all mod cons, spacious accommodation, 4 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with drinks fridge and a lot of sunbathing space on deck! The yacht is licenced in accordance with Mexican laws and fully equipped with all necessary safety equipment and navigational aids. The yacht has space for 12 people on-board, we never expect anyone to be sleeping in the saloon.
Event Organiser/skippers: This trip is organised and skippered by Mike Johns/Sailscape and Paul Ryan/Seascape. Both Mike and Paul are commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmasters Offshore with many years’ experience.
Accommodation: Accommodation will be in shared double or twin cabins. I often get asked if cabins are available for sole occupancy and, of course that’s fine, however I can only accommodate this if you agree to cover the full charter cost of the other space in the cabin.
