Our events are modeled after the hugely beneficial Climate Cafes held around the world to make space for the difficult emotions related the the state of our more-than-human world. Solarpunk Cafes balance that often somber space with radically optimistic imagination, co-creating visions of how our species might succeed with style.
We don't get into the weeds about politics, policies, or who is the blame. This is a group for feeling what needs to be felt, witnessing and supporting one another, and breathing life into utopia. All are welcome, and we only ask that Cafe attendees respect one another and the facilitator.
This group is offered by theclimatecoaches.com, a small group of scientists and mental health professionals founded to support our community through the uncertainties, dangers, and opportunities of climate change and the larger "polycrisis."
