Maid of the Forth - 3 hour evening cruise with live Folk Band

Details

A lot of info here so please read all the details. Any questions just ask.

An evening cruise on the Maid of the Forth leaving from Hawes Pier South Queensferry. Watch the sunset and see floodlit bridges. Enjoy a bar, tasty BBQ Ribeye Steak supper and live music from Folk Band Pure Malt. Expect a harmonious fusion of both classic and modern Scottish and Irish folk melodies, including timeless favourites like 'Whiskey in the Jar' plus 'Caledonia' and a spirited sing along!

The cost is £25 plus an extra £10 if you wish to order a supper which is optional. Choices are a BBQ Ribeye Steak on a brioche roll with garnish or the alternative of a Veggie burger on Brioche.

This event needs to be paid upfront before I can book us in as a group so we can sit together. Please forward me the payment (including the cost of the supper if you want one) asap when you rsvp yes. Please let me know in the comments if you want a supper and whether steak or vegetarian. My bank details are Miss Elaine Mackie Sort Code 070436 Account Number 26719738. Unfortunately payment will be non refundable unless someone can take your place.

I really want to get this booked quickly to secure our places so if you haven't sent the payment by Saturday 12th April I will move you to not going.

Getting there - Both buses and trains go to South Queensferry from the city centre. It's roughly a 15 min walk from the bus stop or 10 min walk from the train station to Hawes Pier. Car parking including disabled spaces is available close to Hawes Pier.

The cruise finishes at 10.30pm and I'm not sure re buses and trains at that time of night but I'm sure we will be able to work something out and if need be share taxis/lifts back to Edinburgh.

Accessibility - Access to the boat is by a short walk down the pier and then over a short ramp with handrails. Folding wheelchairs and walkers may be taken down the pier and onto the boat with you. There are two shallow steps to access the rear observation lounge on the boat. The bar, forward saloon and toilet areas are accessed by stepping over a 30cm threshold.
