Hey Everyone,
So if you could do anything in the world (and you knew you'd never fail) ...what would you do ?? Would you be the next Steve Jobs ???? Or would curing cancer be more your vibe ???? Or what if you could have any super power you wanted ?? Does leaping tall buildings in a single bound sound fun ,,,or is being the fastest person on earth more your speed ???? If you haven't thought about it and don't know the answer yet ,,,,,,COME FIND OUT THIS SATURDAY !!!
We've done a few SPEED FRIENDING events now and each time they've been A BLAST !!! So let's kick off our next Six Week Social Sprint with another "Friending Frenzy" - this time allowing our "friending aficionados" to mix and mingle while sharing the funnest and most awesomest (yeah ,,,we're gonna say "awesomest" is a word - just don't tell Webster 😉😉) things they can think of in our "If You Could" Speed Friending Mixer. And for those unfamiliar with our Speed Friending events ,,,,,,
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
- Everyone will get a question sheet with a list of "If You Could Questions." Some will be funny. Some will be thought provoking. But all of them will be engaging ice-breakers that elicit conversation.
- To play the game, simply find someone you haven't talked with previously. Ask them to: a) pick a question from your list, b) write down their answer, c) then ,,,,VERY IMPORTANT ,,,say why they chose their answer and d) sign off on their question.
- Then you can do the same for their list of questions.
- A PERSON CAN ONLY SIGN A QUESTION SHEET ONE TIME.
- Your goal ,,,,,you guessed it ,,,,,Get every question on your question sheet signed.
The Take-Away ,,,,at the end of the night you will have had a chance to have a lot of fun "mini-conversations" with a lot (a whole lot, actually) of fun people. A "Speed Friending" version of 'If You Could," consisting of CONVERSATIONS THAT ARE not too long, not too short and not too deep (it's up to you.) Instead ,,,,JUST RIGHT. Goldilocks would be proud 👧🏼🐻🐻🐻🥣🛏️😉😉.
And what do you "get" for completing your question sheet (besides the potential for a bunch of new friends) ? Well ,,,our regular readers can already guess. But if you're new ,,,,, let's just say when you get it ,,,you'll be glowing 😉😉.
And for those not familiar - Bayou Heights is an affiliate of Heights Bier Garten, where we have so many of our events. It has the same basic set up (including separate beer and cocktail bars). So as we mingle through out the night it will be easy to grab a drink or order food.
So feel free to come on by and hang out with us on Saturday night ! As we say in all caps in the group description for Social Events Zone - It’ll be a great way to "BOTH CATCH UP WITH FRIENDS AS WELL AS MEET SOMEONE NEW !"
