Note: I am holding a few spots for some friends, so that is why you may wind up on the Waitlist.
This hike will start and end at the Yellowstone South Entrance Trailhead (8k7). From there we will hike east to backpack and camp in the southeastern part of Yellowstone, south of Yellowstone Lake and Heart Lake. I’ve secured 12 permits.
Please keep in mind that these will be long days of hiking so you must be in excellent shape. Three of the days have moderate gain and one of the days has even more.
This hike will be in GRIZZLY territory. You must carry bear spray, and you must hang your food in a bear bag or store it in a bear box if the campsite has one.
