The Venue: The Legacy Theater hosts free movies, seminars, and concerts at low cost for senior adults. Residents of UPMC senior living are the primary attendees but the general public is encouraged to join in.

This venue has become a favorite for our north communities and any Pittsburgher willing to cross a river for "a good reason". It is a beautiful 247 seat theater. It can get chilly so plan for a light jacket or sweater if you are so inclined.

This might be a more highly attended film due to its popularity, it's hard to say. But they rarely fill every seat. Plan to arrive inside 15 minutes early to choose your seat as we aren't allowed to save a block of them ahead. Why not tag someone in the "going" group and meet in the lobby to sit together.

Parking is on a slight hill, so you may want to come earlier for an upper spot. There is some handicapped parking.

Where to find me: I will meet everyone in the lobby at the check-in desk with my Meetup sign until they close the doors for the event to begin. If you arrive late feel free to come in and find a seat.

Can also be accessed off Babcock Blvd behind McCandless Crossing, turn right on Cumberland at Passavant Hospital and continue up the hill to turn left at Cumberland Woods.

Meal Option: Closer to the date, look for a separate dining event to be posted for those who want to socialize. I'm pretty sure it's going to be Clark's, about 10 minutes north of our venue, in Pine Creek Plaza.

Please only sign up if you are serious about being there and will show up. We can have 6 people on our team.

Turn into Bakery Square from Penn Ave, and the restaurant Tako Torta is right in front of you. Turn right and look for a place to park outside - I have talked to security and to the owner of Bakery Square, and both tell me that the spaces are not monitored, at least at night. Ignore the signs that say that you can only park for 1 hour.

We will have a team of 6 players. It is very important that you show up, if you sign up. If you cannot come, it is important that you change your RSVP to "not coming". If you are on the waitlist, watch to see if you are moved to coming, if someone cancels.

We will meet at 6 pm, to get a good table and to share a meal. Trivia starts at 7 pm. If you cannot come till closer to 7 pm, let us know, but be there by 7 pm at the latest - your team needs you.

All you can eat sushi, tempura, seaweed salad, udon, etc. $29 for great quality dining. Parking lot nearby or free on-street parking (2 hours) two blocks away. I will arrive at 12:15 and be seated upstairs.

Let's go listen to Aria 412 Opera Group at Hop Farm Brewing! This talented group will sing songs from operas, musicals, and jazz standards in their show called "Scene Stealers." The program is free. Drinks and food can be purchased.

Parking is available on Butler Street, or you can turn onto 56th Street and park in the UPMC lot (for free!) a block down.
