Turkey Run Day Trip of Hiking and Kayaking

If you’ve never been to Turkey Run, you’re missing out! It’s only an hour drive from Lafayette, but it feels like you’ve left the flat lands of Indiana!

I’m scheduling this a couple months in advance, so if the time comes, and the water is too low, we can just plan on hiking! Event is weather permitting, of course! Pack a lunch and bring plenty of water!

For those that want to carpool, we can meet at the Walmart on the South side of town and consolidate passengers! If carpooling, let's plan on meeting at 9:30am in the Walmart parking lot. If meeting us there, I’ll send out an email before the event letting you know if we’re starting with kayaking or ending with it (depending on weather!) and where to meet us!

Kayaking is $20-25, depending on whether we choose the 3 or 6 mile stretch.

While we probably won’t be tackling the “rugged” trails, these are not very accessible. Please let me know if you have any questions!
