Unlike Pancho Villa's menu, flavors and love; their website has a short reason for their existence. In short, they wanted to do more.

Pancho Villa Taqueria was started after our original El Toro Taqueria to keep improving and tuning in to what our clients want and like. With this experience, a new restaurant was added to The Mission Mexican Food scene.
We called ourselves a "Taqueria" well before the term became popular because we believe that great Tacos are at the very heart of Mexican food tradition.
We are entrepreneurs at heart, with Mexican food and restaurants as a mean to express it.

Let's talk about the five pound twelve inch gut bomb that was birthed in San Francisco. It's amazing, full of an entire place of food, wrapped in moist flour and surrounded by foil to make sure you don't miss a drop.

This event is on Cinco de Mayo.. Mexico's liberation from Spain, from Europe, once thought impossible, then it happened.

All my Mexican friends say that the American burrito, while similar, is not Mexican.. but get what you want.

Pancho Villa has my favorite San Franciscan Burrito.

Pancho Villa's salsas are fresh, and you can serve yourself enough to bring the entire meal to the next level.

My first San Francisco Style Burrito was in North Central Florida while attending the University of Florida (the Berkeley of the East -- so they say). Burrito Brothers made rice, beans and meat filled tortilla masterpieces. Of course they were founded in 1976, so not a competitor for the mission burrito invention.

Pancho Villa has a variety of meats, and all of the various beans and bean concoctions you queue in a line and then eat on handmade stools at wooden tables.

Pancho Villa's menu shows meals will be about $20 per person, excluding tax and tip. Alcoholic drinks can easily increase this average. Dress is smart casual.
