Serial Hobbyists Oklahoma:
A group designed for a very specific crossover of niche hobbies, including, but not limited to, Fashion of all kinds, tea parties and coffee, anime/manga, films of various types and production values, books, art, music, and more!
I have a vision of a a group of unnecessarily over-dressed friends around a table decorated with the finest tea sets and pastries, viewing and reviewing unknown or underappreciated media.
Of course, given that these things are quite expensive to get into, I have no plans of mandating a specific dress code, but interest in the hobby, at least, is definitely preferred.
I have a number of tea sets that I've collected that have been doomed to spend years in boxes and I want to show them the respect they deserve!
If things should kick off, I would love to put together a small fund for each meetup that could be used to buy different teas from around the globe to taste and experience. Same with coffees and pastries and things.
I plan to create public events at various cafes and such, as well as private events, likely within my own home. I will need to charge a small fee from members for snacks and stuff, if meeting in a private setting.
