WNC Nature Center

Details
The Western North Carolina Nature Center has reopened! It will be nice spending a Sunday afternoon strolling thru the 42-acre zoological park visiting the 60 species of animals. Come join me!
The ticket office is now cashless so payment must be a credit/debit card, prepaid cash card, or you can purchase your ticket online in advance. The cost for seniors (65+) is $12.95 plus tax. City of Asheville $8.95. Active & retired military with I.D. Free!
NOTE: I was informed by Melissa Smith (Thank you, Melissa!) that you can get free passes to the WNC Nature Center through the Zoom Pass program offered at the Buncombe County Library and also the Henderson County Library. You just need a library card and make a reservation online and go get your free ticket.
DIRECTIONS: There are alternative routes now (due to the storm) to the nature center. Please go to: WildWNC.org for new routing directions.
I will be waiting for you in front of the ticket office at 2:00 PM. See you then! 🐻🦉🦊🐏
