What we’re about
The Seattle Dungeons & Dragons and RPG Meetup Group is a group run by volunteers, open to anyone who wants to play, teach, talk about, or learn about Role Playing Games in the Puget Sound area. We support Dungeons & Dragons of all editions and other Role-Playing Games (RPGs) like Dungeon Crawl Classics, Blades in the Dark, Monster of the Week, Savage World, Pathfinder, 13th Age, Tales from the Loop, Fate, Fiasco, Call of Cthulhu, Starfinder, or Star Trek Adventures.
We provided a positive, friendly, and welcoming space for all adventurers, regardless of class, race, gender, ability, age, or sexual identity.
We have multiple game events occurring monthly for anyone interested in playing various Role Playing Games, as well social events and workshop events.
Besides our events, here are some other places you may find some public play games: https://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Dungeons-and...
We are always looking to bring new people into the game and particularly want to encourage those who want to take the plunge to become a Dungeon Masters and run their owns games!
Or better yet, become an Event Organizer and help provide events for our community! Just reach out to the Leadership team.

The adventurer’s life is tough. It’s time to call it quits. For years you stumbled through hostile lands, living off stale rations, and struggling to get a few hours’ sleep. Now it’s time to hang up your weapons, sell off your armor, and settle down. If only it were that easy…

Stewpot: Tales from a Fantasy Tavern by Takuma Okada is a collection of cozy mini-games that tell the story of a tavern run by former adventurers. Stewpot is divided into a series of slice-of-life scenes, with a different set of simple rules and prompts helping adjudicate each scene. You might be scrambling to cook something edible with random ingredients, bartending for troubled souls, calming down a tavern brawl, going shopping for all the things a tavern needs, and more! Work to upgrade your tavern’s cuisine, atmosphere, and service. In the process, you might just learn a little bit about yourself – and your fellow party members.
********
Stewpot is a GM less story game, making it a game that is entirely player run and driven. No maps, no miniatures, or complex character sheets. This is a co-operative game that relies on creativity and improvisation.
New players are welcome. We'll go slow as cover the game basics. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm.
The game will be hosted on Roll20 and my Zoom account. You will need to create a Roll20 account if you don't already have one (it's free). Cameras will be required for the Zoom call.
The Zoom link will be provided in the Roll20 chat.

My table is a positive, friendly, and welcoming spaces for all adventurers, regardless of class, race, gender, age, or sexual identity. Any negativity fueled by real-world ignorance, hate, or fear will be met with swift action and possible permanent banishment.

- Gigantic - A D&D 5e Drop-In CampaignThe Missing Piece, seattle , WA
Hello! I'm Chinzi (they/them), and I hope to see you soon at a game of Gigantic!
What is it?
Gigantic is a homebrew, drop-in D&D 5e campaign using the 2024 rules. It's held the first three Saturdays of every month from 6pm to 10pm at the Missing Piece in West Seattle. What's special about it?
Gigantic has no max player size. The campaign has been running since Dec 2022, and as of early 2025, we average 18 players per session. While large groups are typically nightmarish, splitting up players into teams and streamlined homebrew rules make the game lightning quick. Our combat rounds average less than 1 minute per player.
The setting is also incredibly rich with things to sink your teeth into. The Cadre (as they're known) own and manage a city, a standing army, and craft a wide array of powerful magic items.
With a comprehensive downtime system, you can meaningfully contribute to these endeavors as well as build relationships with important NPCs.
Who can play?
Anyone 18 or older is welcome to join the game! No experience with D&D is needed. We'll pair you up with a team leader who can show you the ropes. Our group is rather diverse with about 1/3 of us being women, a lot of LGBTQ+ representation, and spanning the age range from early 20's to 70's.
Who should join us?
Anyone who is looking to join a positive, inclusive community and to make friends is an excellent fit for Gigantic. If you're looking to meet some amazing people and play some D&D while you're at it, come on by!Who shouldn't join us?
Gigantic is an experimental exercise in community building first and foremost. If you are specifically looking for a traditional D&D experience, you may be disappointed. Gigantic is much more a story about the group as a whole than any one particular character. Also, if you find it difficult to go with the flow of a large group, you may be frustrated if the group decides to proceed in a way contrary to your own opinion.
Lastly, if you're a stickler for the rules, you will likely be frustrated. We do a lot of experimentation to try and make the game as streamlined and exciting as possible.
What do you need to play?
Just yourself and anyone you'd like to bring along! We have premade characters to help you survive your first session, as well as dice, pencils, and everything else you'll need. One note - outside food and drinks are not allowed in the shop. The Missing Piece serves a ton of tasty food and beverages so please plan to support the cafe while you're there.
Questions?
The best place to ask questions as well as talk to other players is on The Missing Piece's Discord Server. Once you join, opt into the Satur-DND channel and feel free to @ me there. - Gigantic - A D&D 5e Drop-In CampaignThe Missing Piece, seattle , WA
