For Aikido and Iaido:
All classes are ongoing and progressive. i.e. we start at the level of fitness you are at. Teaching staff assist new students who can start any time, at any level of fitness. We ensure that you learn basic body movement to keep you safe as you develop core strength, coordination, and Ukemi (receiving technique) skills which include breathwork. Aikido involves a wide range of throws, joint locks, and take downs. Aikido does not focus on punches and kicks, but rather, on how to blend and redirect aggressive action. i.e. attacks.
