This month we have three fantastic Lightning Talks, covering some interesting topics. Talks will be limited to 15 mins ish per slot with a beer & pizza break in the middle.

We also have some fantastic prizes as well as some swag to give away...

The Talks:

Vasilis Nicolaou - Will be giving us a demo and an overview of his Akka library Talos - Talos is a set of tools for enabling fine grained monitoring of the Akka and Monix circuit breakers.

Matt Squire - Will share some key lessons learned from building and operating a globally distributed, mission critical, reactive system at Disney Streaming Services. We will cover Security, Reliability, Monitoring & Testing

Alex Lashford - GRPC what is good for?? Absolutely N.... or some very specific use cases. Alex will talk through how a true polyglot architecture can help keep mission critical, performance critical apps part of your system.

We are also proud to announce that 60Innovations will be sponsoring Beer and Pizza as well as contributing some Prizes for our give aways this month.

As Plant NOMA is no more :-( I have had to reach out to the great tech community we have in Manchester. Fortunately Co-Op Digital have kindly offered to host us as Federation House.
