
What we’re about
This group meets in order to practice meditation with a special emphasis on loving kindness, compassion, and acceptance -- towards ourselves, all other beings -- and the world. We practice chanting, vulnerable and authentic sharing & connection, mindfulness exercises and talks and meditations both silent and guided in a spirit of safety where all are welcome and accepted.
Inspired by mindfulness meditation teachings of Thich Nhat Than, we aim to provide a safe space to share vulnerably, connect kindly, and live peacefully -- with a special emphasis on loving kindness. This is a heart centered non denominational group. All are welcome. All are accepted. Anyone who wants to come is welcome and met with love, kindness, acceptance.
About the founder: Roman is a devoted meditator, a Trained University of California at San Diego mPeak Mindfulness Coach, Certified in Mindfulness by Mindfulness Certification Training (MCT). He has received over 250 hours of formal mindfulness meditation training and instruction, in addition to years of personal practice. Roman has a special passion for heart centered meditations and genuine, heartfelt compassion for yourself and all other beings.
This group will meet in a spirit of positivity, flow, kindness, acceptance. Talks and brief readings on mindfulness, kindness, acceptance, finding peace -- chants to the sounds of the harmonium and singing bowls -- silent and guided meditations -- mindful walking -- all of these will be practiced to bring joy and peace into the lives of all beings.
