Tired of meetups that revolve around movies, games, or casual lunches where small talk dominates? Join us for a refreshing change! This meetup is all about diving deep into important life topics, gaining validation, sharing perspectives, and having a great time together.
Imagine a book club, but instead of discussing a book, we’re exploring the intricacies of life! Each meeting will focus on a different thought-provoking topic that invites open dialogue and connection.
Meeting Structure: Our meetings will be structured as a roundtable discussion on a specific topic. Everyone will have the opportunity to speak, with each person sharing for one minute while the others listen. After each person speaks, we’ll move clockwise to the next participant. After a couple of rounds, we’ll open the floor for a more unstructured chat, allowing for deeper engagement and exploration of ideas.
Location: Santa Clara county: Cupertino or Saratoga(in-person only)

Topic for this meeting: Let’s talk about something we’ve all faced — Rejection. How do you support yourself after rejection (layoff, breakup, job interview, hearing "no" to something you really wanted)? How do you prepare to reject someone else’s request in a kind way? What do you do if someone reacts poorly to your rejection?
Location: Almaden Lake Park, 6099 Winfield Blvd, San Jose, CA 95120. We will meet the near Almaden Lake Bocce Ball, please plan to arrive by 3:30pm!
Logistics: We will split into smaller groups (7-12 people) for discussions.
