Pacifica Coastal Hike and Social Gathering- Mori Point area

Hello fellow adventurers! We are excited to invite you to join our upcoming group hike along Pacifica's stunning coastline .

We will meet at Mori point trailhead next to the Moose Lodge (parking available along the street) at 10 AM, and embark on a moderate 3-mile loop trail to Mori Point, known for its spectacular whale watching opportunities this time of year and hills covered in wildflowers. The walk to the point is about .5 miles, with some incline/stairs, and then we will take the coastal trail to see if we can catch some whales and enjoy the view! Based on weather and moods, we may modify slightly (Jody is a local and knows the trails of the area and will guide us through the best route). From there, we will meander along the coastal bluffs which offer breathtaking views of the coast and (weather permitting) the Farallon Islands before looping back to our starting point.

As you may know, Pacifica is known for its dramatic cliffs, rich marine ecosystem, and fog! The trail features mostly packed dirt paths with some moderate elevation changes - comfortable hiking shoes are recommended as are layers, layers, layers!
Afterward, those interested can join us at a nearby brewery or café to relax and get better acquainted.
Reminder this is a singles over 45 event- dogs welcome (but keep in mind that not all post-hike venues allow dogs inside). Please be on time, as we will depart promptly at 10. Parking is available on the street and surrounding neighborhood (do not park at the Moose Lodge).
