What we’re about
This group is for inline skaters and roller-skaters (not for beginners / entry level) who can skate at an experienced intermediate level, or above only. Meaning that you are experienced with negotiating turns and obstacles, such as cyclists, pedestrians, and dogs. Have the ability to handle terrain changes safely. That you are able to slow down and stop in a safe manner without making contact with other skaters, people, or street furniture. Benches, signs, lights, fountains, etc. Adults only (18 and up) please.
This is a non competitive "social skate" at various locations along the San Diego coastline. We also offer night skating, skateparks, pumptrack, rinks, ice skating, slalom, dance and more. We do meetups out of town on occasion too. No motor powered devices such as electric skates are allowed.
Mainly flat and smooth routes, but there will also be hills at some point that vary in size so you must be able to descend in a safe manner. Some residential on occasion, but minimal. Skate at your own risk. Each member acknowledges, and agrees that the organizer of this group accepts no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, loss or damage howsoever caused to yourself, or a third party that may occur whilst taking part in a meetup event at any venue. Protective gear is recommended, but is not mandatory. Please know your limits, and do not risk skating above them. Please skate safely and obey the rules of the road, but most of all... have fun!
