Please join us for a fun and scenic hike in Cuyamaca State Park on Sunday, May 18 at 8:30 am! This is part of our “The Longest Day” or TLD hiking series to remember those friends and family members fighting Alzheimer’s Disease. We are planning at least one hike per month on this meetup group. If you would like to sign up and host an event yourself, you can sign up with the Alzheimer's Association "The Longest Day" with the link: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/LongestDay2025/TheLongestDay?pg=team&fr_id=18274&team_id=937760
The sign-up will ask you to donate on my team page, in honor of my mom, Louise, who had dementia and with a minimum of $20., you will get a purple shirt and the chance to raise even more money for this important cause! For those of you who contribute to any of these hikes in the ALZ Series and hike (there is 1 hike each month from November through June), you will be invited to join us on Saturday June 21 2025 at a venue for a very special “Thank You” party. We do hope that you can join us! There is no obligation, but if you would like to contribute this is the link for this hike: https://act.alz.org/site/TR/LongestDay2025/TheLongestDay?pg=team&fr_id=18274&team_id=937760
About this hike: This is approximately a 5.5 mile out-and-back trail. The elevation gain is 1,630 feet. This is considered a moderate hike that will take about 3-4 hours to complete; we will stop for photos and lunch at the mid-way point.

Please call April 858-230-4643, if you anticipate any delays however our goal is to leave by 8:40 am, so please plan accordingly.
