Walk to the Sacramento River and through Frank Seymour Park in Greenhaven
Join us for a refreshing walk on Saturdays through the scenic Frank Seymour Park, which stretches for miles! This is a great way to enjoy nature, see the Sacramento river, get some exercise, and connect with others.
Meeting Point:
Under the south end of the pedestrian overpass.
Parking:
Free parking is available at 850 Florin Rd., Sacramento, CA 95831. I live just three houses away from the meeting point.

Join our Asian Cooking Classes- We’re excited to invite you to our fun and engaging cooking classes! Each session is open to everyone in the community, and we can’t wait to cook and enjoy delicious meals together.

Mon, Apr 21, 6 pm - $20 Salmon in Oyster Sauce, Green Beans, and Eggplant

Tues, Apr 29, 6 pm - Chicken Pad Thai, Eggplant, and Zucchini

Sun, May 4, 6 pm - Japanese Chicken Curry, Japanese Noodles, and Green Beans

Tues, May 6, 6 pm - Thai Pad Woon Sen, Eggplant, and Opo Squash

Fri, May 9, 6 pm - Kimchi Fried Rice, Bell Peppers, and Cabbage

Tues, May 13, 6 pm - Korean Chap Chae Noodles, Napa Cabbage, and Tomatoes

Sat, May 17, 11 am - Vietnamese Chicken, Noodles, Daikon Salad, and Broccoli

What’s Included: Your meal includes seven delightful items: a protein dish, a vegetable dish, a stir-fry dish, a surprise dish, Jasmine rice, an Asian drink, and fruit.

Each class lasts two hours and includes introductions, veggie prep, cooking, and enjoying dinner together. It’s a fantastic way to learn new recipes and make new friends!

Donation:

Low pressure pick up tennis for anyone interested in learning or improving their game. All skill levels are welcome! The goal is to have fun outside, get some exercise, and meet great people.

Please bring your own racket. I'll bring an extra one that will be up for grabs. You can pick a used one up at Play It Again Sports. Will have plenty of tennis balls.

Come hang! this will be a low stress environment. We can occupy one or two courts and do singles or doubles.
