What we’re about
Sacramento Christian Singles Network, is a sub group and Meetup version of Christian Singles Network. Christian Singles Network was established in 1992 to bring single adults from different churches together to meet, grow and enjoy new friendships. Over 215 couples have met at CSN events and married. Countless friendships have taken place too! CSN sponsors dances an average of once a month. We will be starting our dinners back soon. At present over 3,000 singles are on the Sacramento Christian Singles Network email list, and 2,000 on the Christian Singles Network regular list, so when you see just a few people are attending from the meetup group, there could be over 150 attending from both groups.
Average attendance at the dances is around 100-175 people. Most people are 40-75 years old.
Singles of all ages are welcome, though most people are over 40. Some couples attend occasionally too, so if you have friends you are in a couple relationship and they like to dance - urge them to come!
We also host dinner/game nights. During the summer months the attendance is between 20 and 30 people and most carpool from their area to Linda's in Meadow Vista, near Auburn. There might be 5 people attending from the Meetup group, and 15-20 attending from Christian Singles Network's general group. Call the Office to find out more information - 530-878-8606
If you live within an hour or two drive of Sacramento this group is for you! You don't have to be a member of CSN to attend the functions, but it does save you money. A $25 a year membership saves you $5 off on tickets. This group does not require membership.
I originally came up with the concept of Christian Singles Network in the mid 1980's, when I saw people church hopping and very discouraged because they weren't meeting other Christian singles. I felt that attending a group that was bringing people together from all the churches made it much easier to meet new singles.
