Absolutely stunning displays of wildflower fields throughout this trail, so I'm offering it again!! It's wildflower season! 🌷This will be a longer walk than our typical stroll!
Be sure to wear appropriate shoes and sun protection. There are picnic benches at the pond, but feel free to bring travel seats. there are vault toilets at the parking lot (no sinks!)
Drinking water and snacks highly encouraged, there is lots of shade. Avery's Pond Trail is 2.5 total out and back. 240ft altitude gain, with steep climb in the beginning and pretty level otherwise.
Please bring your own supplies. If you're new to watercolor, check out the videos below. I am happy to sit with first timers and answer any questions! You are always welcome to sketch or journal instead!
