Kevin Dixon, naturalist with the East Bay Regional Park District, will be leading a series of botanical hikes for our group on Mondays this spring.
This 4th hike will be in the McCosker parcel of Sibley Regional Preserve.
Check out the interesting history of this parcel in this Bay Nature article.
All botanical hikes will start at 9 am. All hikes are on trails and terrain which is uneven and may be challenging at times.
Fellow lovers of all the green life out there should bring food (lunch and/or snacks) and enough liquids for hydration. Hand lenses are great to have, and binoculars are another good option, especially the close-focus ones. Make sure you are well protected from the sun.
