TOUR OF BARTOW-PELL MANSION MUSEUM (*Payment required*)

An experience to add to your spring calendar!

Come and discover the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum located in Pelham. The mansion is the only remaining grand country estate in Pelham Bay Park. Surrounded by woods and marshland, the mansion and carriage house depict family life in the 19th century.

We'll begin by a mansion tour, led by a museum educator that will take us through the many magnificent rooms, providing us history to the mansion, the property and those that once lived there. The tour will run approximately 40-45 MIN. Following we will be hosted in the 'orangerie', a wonderful naturally lit space to enjoy some light fare from the museum. (a 'cream tea' comprised of tea, scones, clotted cream, jam and lemon curd). The scones are house made by a member of the museum team so we're in for a treat (and I'm not hosting the tea!) Moreover, the grounds are beautiful too and if weather permits we can sit outside on the terrace and take in the view.

WHAT TO KNOW

Minimum Guest Count
This tour will only go ahead if a minimum of 10 book in (and I have to collect pre-payment). Should the minimum number not be met, then under this scenario full refunds will be granted via online methods (eg. PayPal, Venmo, Zelle), Hopefully there will be enough tempted to take in this experience! Tickets are $45 per person.

Parking
There is a parking lot on-site immediately by the mansion, with additional parking close to the carriage house (approx. 5-7MIN walk to the mansion)

Accessibility
As this is a historic house, there are no elevators and access to the second floor and upper floors are via staircases. There is a small set of stairs that leads into the main door of the mansion. You are still welcome to join if only to take in the main floor level, however you will miss the upper floor tour component.
