What we’re about
The goal of this group is to meet other retirees (or soon to be retirees) in the area to make friends and explore local activities, or even volunteer opportunities- after a life of building talents and abilities- as retirees- we have a lot to give back.
After 30+yrs of working having your full day free can be a little daunting, where do you start? If you are like me at all, sometimes it's just good to get out of the house!
We'd like this group to eventually be a one-stop-shop of resources and / or volunteer opportunities for retirees/seniors (we're adding info on discounts offered, and other things the community has to offer).
FOR ANY NON-RETIREES READING THIS: please spread the word about our group (to your aunts, uncles, parents, etc. We'd like to reach out to as many retirees as possible!
