What we’re about
The Great Raleigh Cleanup is a group for people who want to rid the Raleigh area of its litter problem. It’s for those who’ve seen the problem, decided not to blame anyone but instead to do something about it. We meet 3-4 times a mont, most often on Saturdays or Sundays. Our aim is to leave the area 100x better than we found it! Sometimes that means climbing into ditches and streams but safety is always our #1 priority. All cleanups take place within Raleigh unless otherwise clearly noted! Signup even if there is a waitlist. People change their minds all the time.
Quarterly we will have a 'Kid-Friendly' cleanup. These occur on Raleigh greenways and will be clearly noted in the event title. Bring the kiddos out to these.
We also have a program called Adopt the Block. It's perfect for those that are unable to make it out to the group cleanups. We can even hold a cleanup for you and your coworkers. Email with any questions.

Hey team,
This one just popped on our radar. There’s an abandoned encampment off the greenway near South Saunders Street—and beyond that, litter everywhere. The trail, the road, the trees… it’s a mess.
We’ll be tackling this with a few members of our Workforce team, and we could use your help. This cleanup is best suited for the big kids (14+ only). If you're under 18, you’ll need an adult with you the whole time. And don’t forget to complete the waiver first! <--
We’ll have two trailers on site—if you’ve got recycling to drop off, bring it with you.

B-Team Cleanups are group cleanups run by Blake. We are meeting for a fun Sunday morning of picking up litter and making Raleigh a Cleaner Greener Place!
This is an volunteer cleanup for anyone over 12.
You can find us around the golden toyota tundra! All materials are provided. Just bring community and impact!
