Every last Saturday at the Mystic Picnic we create a safe fun outdoor space for meeting kindred spirits and talking about the non-mainstream topics that are becoming more mainstream in these ascension times. We meet March to October from 11am-1:30pm, but for warmth just 12pm-2pm in March, Sept and Oct. See below for all links to signup ahead!

With a nod to the best future of our dear planet Earth, we’ll share stories and support for things like energy healing, psychic gifts, angels, nature spirits, ET helpers, reincarnation, lucid dreams, and so much more! We keep it real, grounded, positive, and heart-centered, so folks can bring their genuine concerns without the big conspiracies. I’ve experienced so many wonders myself, so I’ll be hosting a main circle for friendly discussions, and everyone is welcome to split-off anytime for their own side chats and activities. There will be potluck food and a nice grassy field for games or activities you might want to share.

Bring your own chair if you have, plus any food or drink you want to share potluck style. I’ll supply cups, plates, napkins and utensils, plus a few extra chairs and more snacks. We meet at Lake Crabtree park which is convenient off of Route 40 between Durham and Raleigh, NC. Enter the park from Aviation Parkway, proceed to the first parking lot on the right. If the lot is full, you can drive to the next lot and walk back along the lake, or wait a bit as people come and go frequently. You’ll see me with some chairs in a grassy area near the lot (I’ll get the best spot available)

Carl Schroeder, longtime dreamworker, will offer some dream interpreting as time allows, so feel free to bring your dream questions.

Every night and for about a third of your life, your consciousness focuses away from your physical body for direct opportunities to talk with your spirit guides and work through powerful healing adventures. Yet the language of dreams remains impenetrable for many, as science says they’re just nightly garbage collection, society regards them as absurd curiosities just good for occasional entertainment, and even psychology often reduces them to projections and distortions of our daytime relationship issues. As a result, people often deliberately forget their dreams until they may think that they don’t dream at all. When a snippet comes through it can feel so confusing, ungrounding, and stressful that the message is lost. This is most unfortunate, because actually it’s the daily physical life which is causing the stress that dreams come to explain and relieve.

Carl has worked with his night dreams his whole life, especially after a spiritual awakening in his early 20’s which made it clear to him that the Universe is alive and loves us completely. Suddenly his nights were filled with the kinds of true friends and wise guidance that he wished he'd have in his waking life. He soon came to understand that dreams are portals to the real worlds of higher dimensions that call us to recreate the paradise here which already exists there. To be sure, there are many kinds of dreams, including the neurotic disjoint narratives that must be interpreted for the symbols to make any sense.

What’s more, dreams take place in the same realms as the afterlife, so you definitely don’t have to wait ‘til you die to do life reviews, rework karmic “contracts”, or visit with passed loved ones. Old school spirituality can give plenty of good advice, but thinking you’re obligated to follow mysterious life plans that you can’t question or change is totally false. A hands-off approach to your own creatorship is what has caused all the suffering on Earth, by keeping people divided and conquered between the incarnated human and the discarnate spirit sides of their total being. In fact, you are meant to continually marry your spirit and human aspects to become the creator who is conscious in the creation. This, in part, is the ascension that’s happening now to rescue our troubled planet. So the choice is clear: have a lot of fun deciphering your dreams to act on every opportunity to enjoy your happiest destiny. Or stay stuck in the past where you can’t get the clarity to shift.
