Bring Your Own Picnic - Bond Park (Tentative-Weather Dependent)

IMPORTANT NOTES - Please be sure and read:

1. WEATHER/EVENT CONFIRMATION: We'll cancel and reschedule this if the weather will not be good on this day. Check back here to make sure it's still on for this date and time.
2. BRING SEATING: Bring your own chair/blanket or what you need to sit on a grassy area near the lake. We will plan to meet just off of one of the paved pathways that go around the lake (see event picture).
3. BRING FOOD/BEVERAGE: It's a picnic. Bring whatever you would like to enjoy for your lunch, or just come soak up some sun and nature.
4. FINDING US - You'll need instructions listed below since it's a large park.

HOW TO FIND US:
Bond Park Drive is the road that comes in from High House Road to the parking lot where the Bond Park Boathouse is. Follow all signs towards the Boathouse. Note that if the main parking lot by the boathouse is full, there are signs that point you to Boathouse Overflow Parking. From here:

• If you are in the parking lot and facing the boathouse and the lake, look all the way to the right side of the lake and you will see a small grassy area by the water. This is where the picnic will be. To get there, take the paved trail to the right (this is called Black Creek Greenway, but you won't see the marker sign that says this until you walk on the paved trail towards the right). This will take you past the Amphitheatre on the right.
• When you get to the Trail Head Kiosk (the big map where you can go different directions), go left (Paw-Paw Trail/Bond Lake Trail/White Oak Greek Greenway). You can see the grassy area where we will meet just a few steps up ahead on the left from this map.
• Notes: 1) there are some pictures in the Event Photos of the boathouse, trail kiosk map, and the spot where we will meet to help you find it. 2) If another group is already here, we’ll meet just on the other side of the paved trail in the big grassy Multi-Use Field.
