What we’re about

Accessibility Notice:  Ada Developers Academy is in a building that requires you to be keyed upstairs after hours. It has elevator access. Their offices are on the 10th floor.

Restroom Access:  A gender-neutral and ADA restroom is on the first floor of the building, organizers will provide the keycode and elevator access there. Binary restrooms are available on the 10th floor, where the event is held.

In the spirit of the long-running Beer&&Code, Queer&&Code is a time and place for queer folks and allies to work on personal projects involving code. The event is unstructured, and is meant to be a place to work, meet new people, and help one another. You don’t have to be queer, but you do have to respect that Q&&C is a safe place for queer members of the developer community.

Whether you’re looking to meet other queer developers or work on your project, Q&&C can be that for you. Choose your own adventure!

Not everyone is going to have the same goals for Q&&C, so here’s how you can help to make sure Q&&C remains a positive experience for everyone:

• Respect personal space & boundaries

• Wear a name tag w/your personal pronouns

• No sales pitches - whether for your project, yourself, or your company, this event isn’t about selling.

• Don’t drink too much

• No external groups - this isn’t a space for unsanctioned meetups within the meetup.

The event starts at 6:00 pm and goes until 9pm.

Attendees agree to abide by Substantial's Code of Conduct
