What we’re about
Meet fellow Calgarians interested in Python! Would you like to learn Python, and get into the field? Do you use Python, and want to advance your knowledge? Have you built something interesting in Python, or figured out something tricky, that you want to share with others? Do you just want to chat?
You can do all of that and more at PyYYC!
On the 4th Wednesday of every month, we have:
• An opening talk introducing some latest python news and announcements for jobs opportunities
• Two talks about something Python related
• Pizza
• A chance to work hands-on with some Python code related to the talk
• Post-meetup socializing at a nearby restaurant or pub
It’s helpful to bring a laptop to work through what’s discussed in the talks. Slides and code are often published afterwards at https://pyyyc.org/
