Welcome to Purley Speakers
Purley Speakers is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organisation that helps you to work on your communication, presentation and leadership skills. You may visit the club as many times as times as you wish but to participate fully the joining fees are very reasonable at £75 for six months or £140 for a year with an additional £20 one-off enrolment fee. You will find that this is a fraction of the cost of most public speaking courses. Public speaking is all about practice and at Purley speakers you will get lots of chance to speak in front of an audience and hone your speaking skills. The most important thing is that you can regularly practice your public speaking and get beneficial feedback on how to improve.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at:
In accordance with advice from the government we are currently meeting online via Zoom. As soon as it is safe to do so we will return to our meeting venue Sanderstead Memorial Hall, Purley Oaks Road, South Croydon, CR2 0NR
We gather from 7.15 pm for a prompt start at 7.30 pm and finish by 9.30 pm.
