What we’re about
**

The Dutch Game Design Guild (Spellenmaakgilde) is an initiative to bundle the forces of game designers and testers in the Netherlands. One of the main activities is to organize tabletop game testing events. These events are advertised in this meetup.
We are looking for people who enjoy to test board- and card game prototypes and give feedback about them. It should be a meeting place for boardgame enthusiasts, people who are curious how a boardgame comes to life and boardgame designers who want first hand feedback on their game. We also are active on Discord and you are welcome to join

Looking to playtest new games and provide or get feedback?
Or sharing practical tips for prototyping and publishing games?
Then the Eindhoven Board Game Design session is for you!
A design session is hosted every two weeks in the heart of Eindhoven, along with regular board games. The entrance is free and drinks and snacks are available at the venue.Join us on Discord for more information and upcoming events, included outside Eindhoven.
Note: due to the popularity of the board games evenings at LAB-1, the playtesting sessions take place in parallel with other board games. You may need to ask around for me, or to spot the Spellenmaakguild panel. If I am not there that day, as a designer, what works best is to setup a table 15 minutes early with your proto and invite players to try it, while sharing with them the kind of feedback you are looking for.
- Rotterdam Tabletop Testing NightJeroen's Place, Capelle aan den IJssel
Looking for people to test your game, or interested in playing people's creations? Come over to play boardgame prototypes! Your host for this evening is Jeroen Geenen.
We start at 19.00 hours, play until around 23.00 hours. We start with a pitching round by the game designers about the games that can be played. We aim to have all games playtested, while players can choose what to play. Usually we rotate after a play round (or more, or not depending on the playtime, small games vs an epic night long game).
I will supply coffee/tea/water. You are welcome to bring any other drinks, food or snacks.
To check for actual updates and to sign up as a designer please go to our Guild website and find the event post of that month. We also share more events and news there: spellenmaakgilde.nl
PS: we are aiming to organize this event once a month, on the first Friday of the month
