Lower Yough River Rafting Trip - Fully Guided - Ohiopyle Trading Post

Hello all, There is already a group of us going so if you need to car pool we should be able to help out. This is a rafting trip on the Lower Yough which is good for 1st timers. This is still a white water event. If you have any questions please reach out to me.

Thank you for choosing Ohiopyle Trading Post and River Tours for your Lower Youghiogheny River Rafting Adventure.
The date of your trip, trip time and number of participants are listed below. Please be prompt and understand that there are other
people on the trip. The Lower Youghiogheny River trip will be a 7.5 mile rafting adventure into the scenic 30,000 acre Ohiopyle
State Park, which will start at our check in facility at 171 Dinnerbell Road, Ohiopyle PA 15470 and end at Bruner
Run. Shuttle to and from the river is provided and what you need to bring on the river should be limited due to space in the raft.
While staging at our facility, you can talk to our staff about items to bring. You may also watch a rafting video of a comparable
river level that you will experience that day. Proper dress for the trip factors directly to the time of year and weather. Questions
about this topic can be answered at the check in facility by our guide staff or phoned in ahead of time. Wet suits are available to
rent along with other water clothing available for sale at our facility. We recommend that you have a good pair of shoes that will
stay on your feet during a swim, please nothing without a heal strap; they will get lost and become litter in the river. Taking your
keys on the river is not a good idea, they can be stored on our key rack, which will be locked in our facility until your return. Our
staff consists of white water athletes that are certified in First Aid, CPR and have gone through extensive river training. We are
