Bring the stories of your most challenging stakeholders and join Bruce McCarthy & Melissa Appel, authors of "Aligned: Stakeholder Management for Product Leaders," for an engaging [and likely therapeutic] Q&A on World Product Day.
Navigate the complexities of stakeholder management with insights from the experts. Not your typical book review or discussion -- you are invited to submit your difficult or challenging stakeholder scenarios for a series of facilitated story sharing exercises on real-life, historic cases and horror stories. Through these cases, we'll use book concepts to:
- Understand Your Stakeholders: Identify key influencers, evaluate power dynamics, and adapt to diverse decision-making styles.
- Align for Impact: Build trust, resolve conflicts constructively, and leverage roadmaps for shared understanding.
- Apply Proven Strategies: Navigate organizational structures, communicate prioritization decisions effectively, and master the art of saying "no" gracefully.
Don't miss this opportunity to gain actionable strategies for building stronger relationships and achieving product success through alignment.
Can't get enough? Bruce will be LIVE in Richmond on June 4th, as a Keynote presenter during ProductFest, where you'll learn masterclass pro tips on managing difficult stakeholders. Following the keynote, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Bruce and get their books signed.
SUBMIT YOUR STORY! https://forms.gle/XHw8SWS1ubnx8u1f8
GIVEAWAY! Special thanks to ProductFest, an unconference & premier event for the product curious -- at the end of our event we'll be giving away a pair of tickets to ProductFest in Richmond on June 4 at the end.
Speaker Bios:
Bruce McCarthy & Melissa AppelMelissa Appel: I have 20 years of Product Management experience at companies in various industries, stages, and sizes. When things get complicated, I don't shy away from gnarly problems. I help CPOs and executive teams create aligned strategies and deliver real value by getting the right people in the room and asking the right questions. I am patient and inclusive, but with a bias toward action. My product coaching focuses on getting you unstuck by surfacing the people and process problems that are underlying the product problems.
Bruce McCarthy: Bruce is a serial entrepreneur and leader of product teams in organizations ranging from startups like NetProspex to market leaders such as ATG, Oracle and D&B. Along the way, he demonstrated leadership in areas ranging from marketing to acquisitions to partnerships, design, agile enablement, product management, and development.
Bruce founded Product Culture in 2018 to help product teams succeed through skill building, coaching and organizational design, working with organizations like Toast, Salsify, Klaviyo, Shopfully, EGYM, Nuance, Huawei, and Johnson & Johnson. He is a prolific writer and sought-after speaker at product management, development, and innovation events around the world. He runs an invitation-only Forum for Chief Product Officers.
