ProductTank is a global network of meetups and provides an opportunity for Product Managers in Canberra to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Design, Development and Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.
Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.
We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.

Celebrate World Product Day with us!
Join us for an insightful and practical session on accessibility, hosted in collaboration with OZeWAI.
We’re excited to welcome three expert speakers who will share their experiences and insights on how to embed accessibility into the product development process.
Program Overview
Accessibility standards are becoming more available for teams to adopt throughout the product lifecycle, helping to ensure inclusive products and services. This session explores how to make accessibility an integral part of your team’s culture.- Simon will share his experiences from implementing accessibility in product throughout the different stages, including best practices and key lessons learned.
- Bri and Adam will discuss how to apply the Digital Transformation Agency’s Digital Service Standard, focusing on how to test for accessibility during the service design and delivery process. They’ll also explain how to use WCAG criteria for ongoing accessibility audits—relevant for evaluating digital services in line with Federal and State Government standards.

Simon Chan (he/him)
Simon is a product manager who has worked in start-ups and big tech. Currently based in Canberra, he works for Atlassian leading enterprise growth for its Automation Platform. He’s an outcome focused product leader who thrives at the intersection of complexity and innovation, with broad experience working on growth, platform capabilities and 0 to 1 efforts.

Adam has been in and out of the digital accessibility space for the past 19 years. Adam was the lead Digital Accessibility Consultant with NDIA and the ATO.Adam worked for Vision Australia and the Victorian Office for Disability in a variety of capacities including assistive technology skills training, sales, and support, and digital access technology and policy. Since 2012, Adam has worked with private organisations and various government agencies delivering accessible digital solutions, education and awareness, and managerial and strategic consulting.
Adam has a broad range of skills and experience across information technology and organisational development including business analysis, project management, user research, skills training, quality assurance and testing, and user interface design and development.

Bri is a Digital Strategist and User Experience and Accessibility specialist based in Canberra, Australia and is currently a Digital Accessibility Specialist at AbilityWorks.com.au. Bri has more recently co-developed inclusive research workshops to share how to include accessibility earlier in the project lifecycle which includes engaging with people with disability as part of inclusive research activities.Amongst her professional experience with government agencies and local businesses, Bri is the co-chair and the conference convenor for Australia’s Web Accessibility Initiative OZeWAI.org, a Standards Australia Accessible ICT Procurement Committee Member and a member of the ResearchOps.Community Cheese Board.
