This meetup is open to anyone who is interested in fun and exciting activities or events in and around the San Francisco area. We're dedicated to providing an active list of events ranging from outdoor activities, happy hours, live bands, clubbing, and more! There is no limitations as different activities will attractive different demographics. We do discourage negativity and grumpy people. Our meetups will include discounts to fun activities and guest list access to some of the SF's hottest parties. We'll also host networking happy hours, team building workshops and other fun activities to cater to different needs. This meetup is about building a strong, resourceful, and social community in and around San Francisco. Check it out and say hi! We are open to working with other organizers and love to hear about other event suggestions!

See all- The Ultimate Crawl - North Beach EditionBarbarossa Lounge, San Francisco, CA
Hey guys ~ The crawls have been a blast lately. This event will be an exploration of North Beach and all of the bars/clubs that have survived the past few years. North beach is one of the few neighborhoods in SF that I feel has thrived regardless of what else is happening around SF.
About:
Keep in mind that these pub crawls are more about exploring new places opposed to going to 3-4 dives and getting drunk. The idea is to learn about the neighborhood and checkout a large array of bars ranging from dives to lounges to sport bars so that you can confidently revisit them in the future. Everyone will receive a map of the area as well as some ice breaker games at the 1st bar.Tickets:
This is a ticked event ~ please purchase your ticket below. There is a 100% refund policy. If you don't have a good time or it's not for you, you can get your $$ back!Men's General Admission
This event is FREE for women! It's likely that we'll end up close to where we began so you'll have the option to either return to Barbarossa for some dancing or revisit one of the other lively bars in the area. Please keep in mind that if you do wish to partake in the dancing there are dress codes at some locations.
The total walking distance will be about 1.5 miles and will consist of checking out approximately 35 different bars, restaurants, and lounges.
There are essentially 3 types of 'stops'.
- #1 is us stopping in for a drink (usually about 45min) and checking the spot out.
- #2 is a quick walk through where essentially; we'll enter, touch the back wall, and depart.
- #3 is just a pass-by. We'll just walk past these places and point them out for later investigation!
Please note that the crawl isn't so much about drinking as it is about seeing and learning about new places! We don't actually stop for a drink at every place on the list but will be able to do a quick walk-through at most.
Each of these locations are known for something different and each provide a fun atmosphere to meet new people or bring a friend. This will be the 2nd North Beach crawl of 2025 and it's always fun to explore some new places together!
Dress Code: We won't be visiting any venues with a dress code so dress comfortable and don't forget to dress warm as it'll be colder near the water! Do note that we'll have the option to go dancing after the crawl for some dancing and there is typically a dress code.
Parking: There's a decent amount of street parking but I wouldn't necessarily recommend leaving anything in your car around that neighborhood. Metered spots are usually FREE after 6pm depending on if there are events in the area but always check. There are several parking garages as well. The area is a short walk from Bart and accessible by bus.
Please eat before the event as we have dinner on the schedule, but it is difficult for the whole group to eat at one location. Thus, it's usually a quick stop.
It's bound to be a magical night! I'm excited to enjoy it with everyone,
ArthurPlease drink responsibly and don't drive under the influence!
- Picnic @ Golden Gate Park (Welcoming Summer)Hellman Hollow (Golden Gate Park), San Francisco, CA
Hey guys ~ Our picnics are always fun and range in size. This particular picnic doesn't really have a theme but will still be a great afternoon out at the park.
This is a ticketed event!! See below for details.
I'll bring a chest full of beer, some wines, and some other fun drinks for people to enjoy.
We'll have corn hole, Jenga, spike ball, volleyball, and plenty of other fun games going on throughout the day.
This particular event is always a blast and is simply a massive picnic potluck at Golden Gate Park. Please bring some food to share with the group!
I'll also bring out a large speaker and put together a special playlist to blast to the sound of making new friends.

(100% refund within 24 hours before the event)I'll have 2 tables set-up with red/white picnic tablecloth and will be wearing a colorful headband so that we're easier to locate. I'm hoping to secure some space close to the bathrooms in Hellman Hollow. The pin drop on the meetup map is usually pretty accurate.
Thanks & I'm looking forward to seeing you all,
Arthur - Beginners Bartending Course - Tasting & Cocktail MakingThriller Social Club, San Francisco, CA
Hey guys, we're back at it and have secured our 1st bartending course of 2025. Space is very limited as always. This particular event is limited to 11 participants.
In the past I've hosted several bartending courses. Each class was approximately 10 hours and ran over 3 days. While super immersive and informative; this time around I'm going to keep the class a bit shorter and to the point.
The class itself will run about 3 hours and include tastings, making actual cocktails, and tons of tips and tricks in regard to casual bartending.
The location of the class is Thriller Arcade Bar. We'll be occupying the back 2nd floor bar which is the themed bar. We'll have the bar to ourselves for the duration of the class.
We'll also have the opportunity to get behind an actual bar and make drinks for our fellow classmates.
The class will begin by reviewing an informative PPT before we dive into some tastings and finish the class with making 3 actual cocktails. Every student will get to leave with a printout of tips and tricks for hosting a party as well as an "Raise the Bahr Certified" certificate at the end of the course to show their newfound skills...
I myself have been bartending for over 10 years and have worked at beverage catering companies, festivals, neighborhood bars, and currently do private home bartending under the name of "Raise the Bahr".
We'll kick the class off with a Q&A and introduction to bartending at which time students can ask questions as we go over a PPT reviewing the basics. This will also include some tastings as well as tips, tricks, and facts to impress your friends.
The class will move quick but I hope to get everyone involved and walking away content with their new knowledge.
