See all- Protect Immigrants: Join Us on Tuesday in Albany! hosted by the NYACLUAlbany Legislative Office Building, Albany, NY
| New York For All Mobilization to Albany April 29th
For years ICE has tried to divide us, determined to cruelly target immigrants and separate families. Under this administration, ICE is escalating the deportation machine, putting pressure on local law enforcement and local government agencies to search for, arrest, and deport people, and to separate families. All New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status, want to lead open lives, participate in their communities, provide for family, and access health care without intimidation.
Next Tuesday, we are heading to Albany together to loudly say: The time is NOW for New York to proudly protect immigrant New Yorkers!
Join NYCLU and the NY4All Coalition on April 29th for a full day of advocacy as we gather to demand the passage of the New York for All Act (S.2235/ A.3506) to support and protect our communities.
Register here at or at the link below, and write “Power to the People” under organization. Food and transportation will be provided. Registration will close at 6 pm tomorrow, April 24th.
We hope to see you there - the time to protect immigrants is NOW!!!

- Amnesty #1035- Petition: Israel and the Occupied Palestinian TerritoryLink visible for attendees
The government of Israel’s renewed assault on Gaza underscores our need to lobby Congress in support of an arms embargo—right now, to that end, our focus is on lobbying Senators and Representative to vote YES on Senator Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRDs). This is part of our wider strategy to influence the US government on Amnesty’s global human rights demands regarding Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including a permanent ceasefire, release of all hostages and arbitrarily detained Palestinians, humanitarian aid, an arms embargo and an end to apartheid and occupation.
Here is how your local group can take action:
- Lobby your two Senators and your Representative: in support of Senator Sanders’ Joint Resolutions of Disapproval. Email campaigns@aiusa.org to receive our lobby materials.
- Sign and share our petition: demanding a permanent ceasefire
- Sign and Share our petition: calling for an end to the genocide and use our Printable Petition and Sample Letter to mobilize your community.
- Join the Spring Interfaith Action: Sign up to host or join a human rights iftar if you observe Ramadan, a seder if observing Passover, or any interfaith community meal and conversation on human rights. Learn more here.

- Call the White House Comment Line (281) 572-5571 urging Trump to:
