Portland Polyamory

Portland Polyamory (often known as ‘the Lucky Lab Meetup’) is a social group for people interested in ethical non-monogamy (ENM). Our meetups are casual, meet and greet, drop in style hangouts. If you are looking for other non-monogamous people, you've found some of them! Questions are welcome. Come to a meetup and learn more about the different ways people practice ethical non-monogamy, sip a beverage, hear people's stories about the good times, and how they navigate the challenges.
Our meetups are child free, and open to adults 18+. The whole spectrum of sexuality and gender identity is welcome - queer, straight, bi, gay, lesbian, pansexual, asexual, cisgender, genderqueer, gender fluid, transgender, IS, and anyone else we may have left out (let us know if we did!) ...
Each new member is required to have an identifiable photo and answer the application questions. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Our meetup is often the first landing place for those who are new to polyamory, and we enjoy welcoming people to the community! If you have general questions remember that we value the wisdom and involvement of our members of all ages and varying levels of experience, but a little bit of reading, or exploring other forms of educational media (podcasts etc) is really helpful first.

Portland Polyamory 2 Community Guidelines:
• Be respectful of other members: Use the “Platinum Rule” treat others as they want to be treated.
• Consent: Actively seek consent and respect the boundaries of others. Even casual touch requires consent in our group, and consent may be revoked at any time. Members will be asked to leave if they fail to respect the boundaries of others.
o When responding to a verbal request for touch,
If you’re a yes, say YES.
If you’re a no, say NO.
If you’re a maybe, say NO.
If you change your mind, say so. You can change your mind.
o Sexual touch is not allowed at any Portland Polyamory 2 events.
• Privacy: Respect the privacy and personal information of others. Bring your ideas and your questions! Avoid naming others who are not present or who have not consented to having their part in your story shared.
• Digital Contact/DM: before direct messaging or contacting members on social media, gain their consent either in person, or by using a public discussion board/thread. You may DM admins or hosts to speak with them in their formal capacities without asking for permission first.
• Photo’s, video, streaming: Prior to taking photo’s, video or streaming AND posting on any public forum, you must have full consent of all people who are captured in the photo/vid/stream
