Curious about drones? Want to try flying one? Whether you fly drones yourself or are brand new to the controls, join us at Mountain View park to learn the excitement of drones in a fun and relaxed event.

We’ll kick things off with a short, informative talk about drone safety, and how drones are used in the world of mapping. Then we'll give everyone a chance to take the controls and fly a drone hands-on! Experienced drone pilots are encouraged to bring their own drones so we can all fly together. The sky is the limit!

If you've never flown a drone before and want to give it a try, you'll have to complete a short recreational safety quiz here: trust.pilotinstitute.com/. This is a legal requirement of the FAA.
