Flatiron via Siphon Draw Trail

If you are up for a challenge and an adventure, join me on this difficult hike up to the Flatiron. The amazing views and sense of accomplishment are worth the effort.

You cannot enter the Lost Dutchman until 6:00am. There is a $10.00 entrance fee, cash only to get in. There is usually a line along the road at the entrance at 5:45am. We will plan on meeting at the parking lot near the restrooms by Treasure Loop trail area and head up at 6:15am.

6 miles with 2700' of elevation gain, this is a very challenging hike.

• Bring enough water for the entire hike, at least 3 liters of water
• Wear sturdy shoes
• Bring snacks and food
• Event Organizers are volunteers, not professional guides
• You are responsible for yourself
• In signing up for any of our events, you are assuming responsibility for your own health and safety
• We do our best to hike a comfortable pace and strive to not leave anyone behind. However, you must take responsibility for yourself by researching the hike/destination in advance and determining in advance if your body is up for the challenge; arriving on time; being prepared with adequate clothing for the conditions; wearing proper footwear; and most importantly, knowing and adhering to your own physical limitations.
• We reserve the right to turn anyone away at the meeting point who shows up without the proper provisions. Please do not put yourself or others in a potentially compromising or dangerous situation by showing up unprepared.
