Looking to join a group to play some escape games in Phoenix? Lock yourself in here with us, then!
Never played an escape room before? Never fear! We welcome both the experienced and first timers in our group! It takes all kinds of mindsets for escape rooms, and often new players bring something to the table as much as the experienced do. It's also a great way to meet people and make friends!
For the uninitiated: Escape rooms, or escape games, are exciting hour-long adventure games that take place in rooms full of puzzles and mysteries. You and a squad of people work together to find clues and solve said puzzles, to try and escape before time runs out!
We meet up, have some food and drinks before or after, and have a great time cracking these rooms. Whether you're new or old to escape rooms, try one of our meetups this month!

Join us Saturday, April 26 at Puzzle Effect at 1:45 pm to capture a pirate ship in the escape room Curse on the Emerald Seas!
The room starts at 2:00 pm, but please be 15 minutes early to check-in, sign waivers, meet your teammates, etc.! The game will last 1 hour max.
I’ll be wearing a black Morty t-shirt (small logo on chest with a pink door)! I look forward to seeing you there!
The cost is $42.49 per person (all taxes and fees included). Just show up and you can pay there -- no need to pay in advance for this one. :)

About the room:
Upon escaping the Crimson Storm, you and your crew have found yourselves adrift and come across the mysterious ship known as The Emerald Seas. Legends tell that this ship was cursed when its crew mutinied and traded their captain’s heart for unknown treasures. Witnesses say the ship only appears for an hour before sinking below the water. You and your crew board the ship in hopes of dispelling the curse and claim the ship as your own before it returns to the watery depths.
Important details:
- We will book the spots for this room, so no planning needed!
- Please arrive at the listed time. This is scheduled 15 mins ahead of the room time so that everyone can arrive, check in and sign waivers if applicable.
- Depending on demand, we may add additional rooms, so if you don't see a spot left, please let us know!
- No shows or last minute cancellations after the booking has been paid for will not receive refunds due to the non-refundable nature of the escape room businesses. Let us know if your plans have changed and we can attempt to find a replacement for you, but there is no guarantee.
- If there is a cancellation/rescheduling of the event, you WILL receive refunds.

The city is losing power fast, compete head-to-head or cooperatively to return power to the failing stations.Important details:
