What we’re about
Philly Tech Sistas is an organization aimed at helping women of color gain technical and professional skills in order to work, thrive, and move up in the tech industry. We do this by providing intro to programming workshops and professional development events that build leadership, confidence and community. Our vision is to partner with tech companies throughout the Philadelphia area to help bridge the diversity, equity and inclusion gap.
All attendees, speakers, volunteers, mentors, etc., are expected to abide by the Philly Tech Sistas Code of Conduct:

Want to Volunteer?
Our programs give women the opportunity to leverage their careers and create better lives for themselves. Invest your time in helping develop future tech innovators so companies can recruit them for internships, apprenticeships, and employment.
Join our Leadership Team - Leverage your career by involving yourself in a new leadership opportunity! Help create new opportunities for others.
Become an Instructor - Use your knowledge and skills to help other women learn programming in a safe, fun, social environment!
Become a Mentor - Our Mentors serve as TA positions. Help create a welcoming environment and answer questions students may have.
For questions about different ways you can get involved or if you'd like to volunteer to help teach a workshop, please contact us at phillytechsistas@gmail.com.
