I moved to Philadelphia back in spring 2022 and one of the reasons for this was for live music - the scene here is a bit better than at the bottom of NJ!
This group is for people who want to attend shows and hang out with likeminded souls.
Most shows are at small venues where people can easily meet at the bar then watch the show together (or not!), so it's easy to buy tickets individually and still hang out, talk about music and anything else - maybe we'll steer clear of politics though.
Groups or artists I like vary from Anthrax, Two Door Cinema Club, Flaming Lips, Ryan Adams, The Strokes, The Prodigy, etc... it's varied and clearly this is a small venue group so I'm not organizing tickets for concerts at the big venues (though that doesn't mean they're ruled out). Also very likely to have some very small, or less known artists including foreign language too.
Venues will include, but not limited to: World Café, The Fillmore, Union Transfer, etc...
This group is open to anyone - age, gender, sexuality, race or ability/disability - so probably not a good place for close minded people.

My favorite band on the planet and I haven't seen them since The Big Four in 2011, pre the move to North America.
This is part of this 'let's milk it for all we can tour' (not the official tour name) with two nights, different support bands each night and 100% different set list for both nights.
First night is Friday May 23, second is Sunday May 25.
