The Great Careers Network(GCN) provides about 18-25 monthly online career education and networking events for career transition and career management. Some are free and others you must be a paid member, which is only $5 a month ($59/year).
Registration info to get Zoom links for our events or links to affiliate events are on our website events page https://greatcareers.org. No Zoom links are published on meetup.

The Immigrant Professionals Career Support Group is hosted by Solveiga Jaskunas online on Zoom.
Are you an immigrant professional looking for your first job or searching for a better one?
This is an online Zoom meeting, and we encourage participants to join on a computer with a camera installed.
This Zoom meeting will also offer networking opportunities, including 15 minutes to ask questions at the end of the agenda. You’ll be on the call with other immigrants and volunteers with the same objective of creating a safe and supportive space to get job search and career support. Come prepared with your questions and ready to learn approaches that meet your needs.

Solveiga Jaskunas is a seasoned HR professional, speaker, facilitator, career coach, and connector with over fifteen years of experience in nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Solveiga Jaskunas helps professionals at all stages of their careers land dream jobs and navigate workplace challenges. She loves preparing clients for big career moves, guiding them through the job search, and supporting them throughout their professional journey. Her coaching is informed by two decades of experience as a human resource professional. She has seen the job search from all angles – as a recruiter, career counselor, and a job-seeker herself. Trained in psychology, with master’s degrees in organizational psychology and human resource management, Solveiga understands not only how recruiters and hiring managers think, but also what my individual clients need to thrive.

We utilize a methodical and strategic process assisting the client with research and due diligence to help them find the right franchise business, which aligns not only with their financial goals but their life goals and interests. We also help small businesses that already have a proven business model explore the idea of replicating their business utilizing the franchise distribution model to grow regionally and nationally.Sean joined FranNet in August 2024 and is a Certified Franchise Consultant. Sean is also a CPA and CGMA. Prior to FranNet Sean had over 10 years of experience with franchising both as a franchise business owner with Better Living Patio Rooms which he acquired with the help of FranNet in 1989 and as a leader at the esteemed Jackson Hewitt Tax Services (JH), where he held multiple management roles supporting franchisees.
Sean’s years at JH included roles in business development, franchise sales, and acquisitions, where he collaborated with marketing and third-party consulting organizations to identify franchisees that were a strong fit. Many of these franchisees became long-term, multi-unit owners, with several growing into the largest franchisees in terms of sales and profitability.
Beyond franchising, Sean has held several executive management positions, most recently at Broadridge Financial Solutions, a global fintech provider serving the financial services industry, where he oversaw two business units.
