Long Sault Conservation! Elevation changes and elevation changes!!!

Long Sault…in Spring…not sure what to expect…I don’t think the trails will be overly muddy…but haven’t used the trails in Spring.

Personally, it’s been a long winter, and I’ve hiked these trails several times in light snow, fresh snow, deep snow and packed snow.

The terrain is Sandy, so mud may not be an issue. My hope is that the trails aren’t covered with “more snow”.

Instructions…do not GPS your driving instructions, as the Conservation area has multiple trailheads, and we are hiking a trailhead that Meetup doesnt recognise. In lieu of using your GPS, rather look for Concession 10…we are parking on the wide shoulder of Concession 10, just east of Grasshopper Park Road.
The trailhead we are using is on the northwest corner of the Long Sault Conservation area.
