What we’re about
Penguin Badminton Club was started in 1992 by 10 players who wanted a fun club, playing with others who enjoyed good spirited competition.
The aim was clear ' to make badminton accessible, fun and competitive to all abilities, ages and sexes on an equal basis.'
We play at:
The Kings Club (Kings College School)
Woodhayes Road
Wimbledon Common
8-10pm every Friday (except two weeks at Xmas and Good Friday) on 4 courts using feather shuttles.
Fees are currently £240 per year (for 49 weeks of badminton). Contact us for more information about membership.
Visitors are always welcome on a pay as you go basis costing £9 per session, if you wish to play as a visitor either contact us directly or book your place through Meetup.
